San Fran, CA: June 10-13, 2008

I flew to San Francisco to meet all of the other SummerXchangers. For the next three days about 30 of us, interns and group leaders spent time together learning about the history and vision of InnerChange, and the various mission trips taking place this summer.

TEAM SUMMERXCHANGE going to Xela, Denver, New Orleans, South Africa, San Fran and SF(¨The Northwestern Nomads¨)!

SF orientation was more than just a type of "job-training" or check list. In three short days this diverse group of strangers from all over the US, two from the UK and one from El Salvador, became a cohesive clan, ready to look through Kingdom Eyes, ready to serve and love our neighbors, prepared for our journeys emotionally, mentally and spiritually, and excited to share how God is to shape us during the summer. I feel blessed to have met and spent such quality time with this group of Christians.
